Description: Lavandin Essential Oil has a herbaceous, sweet, floral aroma. Lavandin is a hybrid between Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia). Grown in France this sweet smelling plant has also been called French Lavender, not to be confused with Lavender French (Lavandula angustifolia) which is regular Lavender that is grown in France. This hybrid has been used over the years as a poor man’s lavender. For the properties of Lavender and Lavandin are quite similar, but the aroma is just a bit softer.
Common Use: Lavandin has been traditionally used to help skin infections, wounds, menstrual cramps, muscular cramps and contractions, muscle spasms, muscle injuries, migraine, stress, tension, respiratory tract infections, rashes, pimples, acne, nervous tension, and pain relief.
Directions: Recommended to properly blend in a carrier oil prior to topical applications. Patch test before use in case of sensitivity.
