Description: Myrrh Essential Oil has a dry, resinous aroma. This oil is derived from the oleoresin gum of the Commiphora myrrha tree. It is native to northeast Africa and areas of Arabia. Myrrh resin and crude oil was used by ancient Egyptians for their embalming processes and medicinal uses. Loved for its meditative properties this resin was also burned as incense for many ritualistic purposes. Used highly for sacred burials Myrrh was found in pots placed in many tombs. Now Myrrh Essential Oil is perfect for diffusing and creating a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere.
