Another study on Peppermint Essential Oil was recently published on ScienceDirect. This is a very extensive article that addresses many aspects of Peppermint Oil, so I’ll only share a short excerpt today; but I’ll share more aspects of the article during the days and weeks to come.

Peppermint Essential Oil is a mixture of volatile metabolites with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, immunomodulatory, antitumor, neuroprotective, antifatigue and antioxidant activities.

Mounting evidence indicates that Peppermint Oil may pharmacologically protect gastrointestinal, liver, kidney, skin, respiratory, brain and nervous systems, and exert hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects.

Clinically, Peppermint Oil is used for gastrointestinal and dermatological diseases, postoperative therapy and other fields.

Stay tuned for more elements of this study.
