Natural Beta-Caryophyllene is isolated at over 90% by Dr. Robert Pappas of Essential Oil University by fractional distillation. It is the most common sesquiterpene in essential oils and occurs in significant percentages in things like copaiba (one of the highest at 50-60% typically), black pepper, ylang ylang, cananga, clove, melissa and other essential oils.
